1/21/2024 0 Comments Habits of health podcast![]() ![]() So to hear in the first few minutes of these podcasts that the most important thing for visualising "your version" of a "great life" is to visualise one full of health and energy. Visualising a life free from illness and full of energy is something I've had to train myself out of doing as it only brings sadness, anger and stagnation as I wait to be healthy again (or try endless snake oil cures), rather than building a good life with the health I have. I have struggled long and hard to carve out a happy fulfilling life while ill, and it's been very difficult to accept the reality of my illness (and the permanence of it). As someone with a chronic illness which affects my energy levels this made me break inside a little. Apparently when visualising your 'great life' to aim for, the most important thing is that "you're healthy and happy, full of energy". But as a disabled person I frankly found it pretty depressing. I wanted to listen to this to get tips on what to do/concentrate on to be happy more of the time.
